strategist, Shaibu Adah Mohammed is a Nigerian based businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He was Red button boardroom guru and thorough breed business strategist, Shaibu Adah Mohammed is a Nigerian based businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He was born 55 years ago in Egume, a suburb of Dekina LGA of Eastern Kogi State – North Central Nigeria.In 1978, Mohammed graduated with good grades- Division one from Our Lady of School, Anyingba and thereafter proceeded to the Benue State Polytechnic, Ugbokolo from where he was awarded a Higher National Diploma in Marketing in 1982.
He applied for and was admitted to the Bayero University, Kano, North West, Nigeria for a post graduate diploma program in Management which he obtained in 1992. By 1994, Mohammed has successfully bagged a Masters’ Degree in Business Administration from the Bayero University, Kano. In 2016, he enrolled for a Doctor of Philosophy – PHD in Business Administration program which he expects to complete in 2018.
Alongside these certifications, He also acquired practical skills in business development, finance, financial management, marketing and international business.
Mohammed is a member of a group of distinguished individuals from diverse endeavours who advocate at the highest levels for equitable and sustainable development in Nigeria with focus on Kogi State in North Central Nigeria. As a Panel member, he facilitates knowledge sharing and connects key policy formulators as a veritable means of influencing policies for integrated development in Nigeria with substantial participation of organized private sector.
This is pursuant of his belief that various dimensions of veritable growth and development is possible to be achieved where there is effective and visionary leadership.
He has won numerous accolades and gained international recognition for his business expertise and philanthropy and is considered as one of the most generous humanitarians from his home town, Egume and Kogi state of North Central, Nigeria.
In the last 15 years, Mohammed has committed large sum of money towards provision of education to indigent students with emphasis on the education of the girl child as well as providing entreprenuers with required support including mentorship, training, knowledge transfer and provision of seed capital to enable them maximize their effectiveness.
Mohammed also supports the development of sports through the Mohsha Football Academy Fund which has served as a platform for the discovery of new talents in soccer besides being instrumental to taming youth restiveness, reducing crime and unemployment. Mohammed has also funded initiatives in public health and agriculture. This is excluding his capital investments in charity, human development, community empowerment and social work.
In 2013, Shaibu Adah Mohammed returned to Northern Nigeria after a long absence on account of career moves to spearhead a special interventions package of the executive management of Nigerian Breweries Plc. aimed to raise the volume of sales in the region and cause a remarkable reduction in the turn-around time for service delivery to clients.
The immediate implication of his interventions was a growth of market share of Nigerian Breweries Plc. in the Northern Business Unit.uring the span of His career in Nigerian Breweries Plc., Mohammed built a tremendous clientele base consisting of end users in both the private and public sectors including individuals and even competitors – a feat that was fully acknowledged by the core management team of the concern led by an exceptional technocrat, Dr. Eze Festus Odimegwu as he was nominated and won various executive management awards and prizes ranging from categories in sales/market share growth, revenue target actualization, accounts management and regional business management.

In recognition of this, Mohammed was appointed into senior management as a regional retail manager – Abuja retail cluster shortly after which He was appointed regional accounts manager – Makurdi cluster. Afterwards, he was appointed District Manager, Aba business district essentially to tackle NB declining business fortunes in the business district. His quick turnaround of the performance of the district earned him the Overall Best District Manager in 2007. His career peaked in 2012 when he was appointed Regional Business Manager, North.

In the course of working with both Guinness Nig PlC and Nigerian Breweries PlC, Mohammed played a wide range of exceptional roles and served as a key policy driver in areas such as Field Sales Management, Area Sales Management, Regional Retail Management, Regional Accounts Management, District Management, Sales Training Management, Sales Operations Management, Capability Development Management and Regional Business Management.
In 2017, Mohammed retired from Nigerian Breweries Plc as a Regional Business Manager in charge of Abuja Business Region. In March, 2018 he was appointed the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Mohsha Nig Ltd.
Mohsha Nigeria Limited, a company incorporated in 1996 is a business concern with headquarter at Owena House, Central Business District, Abuja and it is into General Merchandise, Business Development, Transportation, International Business Representatives and Mining.
